Deploy to a Roku device
Getting Started
This plugin requires Grunt ~0.4.5
If you haven't used Grunt before, be sure to check out the Getting Started guide, as it explains how to create a Gruntfile as well as install and use Grunt plugins. Once you're familiar with that process, you may install this plugin with this command:
npm install grunt-roku-deploy --save-dev
Once the plugin has been installed, it may be enabled inside your Gruntfile with this line of JavaScript:
grunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-roku-deploy');
The "roku_deploy" task
Overview
In your project's Gruntfile, add a section named roku_deploy
to the data object passed into grunt.initConfig()
.

Options
options.address
Type: String
Default value: 'localhost'
The local ip address of the Roku device. (e.g. 192.168.1.2)
options.username
Type: String
Default value: 'rokudev'
The username of the Roku device. (e.g. rokudev)
options.password
Type: String
Default value: ''
The password for the development user. (e.g. 1234)
options.version
Type: String
Default value: 'pkg.version'
The version of the deployment package.
