APU-Timetable-Telegram

A Telegram bot for students of Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation to view their timetable.

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.

Prerequisites

• Python 2.7+
• Telegram Bot

Installing

1. Download Python Telegram Bot on your local machine.

pip install python-telegram-bot

2. Download APU-Timetable-Telegram on your local machine.

https://github.com/lowyiyiu/APU-Timetable-Telegram/archive/master.zip

3. Modify the following to ensure that the bot will function properly on your local machine.

• Prepare custom intake list
• Prepare custom timetable list

Running

timetable.py [YOU_TELEGRAM_BOT_API_KEY] [URL OF WELCOME MESSAGE] [URL OF TIMETABLE] [URL OF INTAKE]
