[DESCRIPTION]
=============
This module is a python wrapper of Warren Jaspers' C driver for MCC USB1208FS
DAQ on linux, completed in cython. To use this module, the original C-driver 
along with all it's requirements must be already installed on the computer.

The author checked Guillaume Lepert's python wrapper for USB26xx series 
before developing this module. Thanks to all the previous works.

In addition to wrapping the driver, this module provides objected-oriented 
syntax and python list support to achieve a more user-friendly interface. 

The module was developed under python2.7 and cython0.26.1 on Linux4.12 kernel.

[COMPILE/INSTALL]
=================
Assuming the original C driver is already installed, run
    pip install usb1208fs
to install this module.

[USAGE]
=======
This module provides an objected-oriented syntax for using the USB1208FS DAQ:
>>> import usb1208fs
>>> daq = usb1208fs()

The wrapper then wraps all functions exported in usb-1208fs.h of the original
driver; most functions will have the same arguments, except for analog scans
which utilized output parameters to export data read by the DAQ in the C-driver.
In the python module, the result will be returned as a python list of the raw 
8bit integers. The conversion functions that converts the raw reading to volts 
are also provided in the module.

Analog/Digital IO:

[ERROR CONDITIONS]
==================
The python module catches all the error that will be returned by the original 
driver and raises exceptions. However, since the original driver only uses 
perror() but does not return to indicate exceptions in some cases, not all 
errors will be cached but the error message will be printed. 
One thing to notice that if a daq had been initialized and is initialized for a 
second time, calling the constructor will show the following message:
    "init_USB1208FS: error detaching kernel: No data available"
However on the author's computer the program could still continue to run and all
the functionalities remains normal.
