node4mailer is a small modification to nodemailer to run on Node 4 (and higher), whereas official Nodemailer runs only on Node 6 (and higher). Version numbers run roughly parallel to nodemailer. See also smtp-server-node4, which this depends on for testing.
The modifications are by Erik Demaine, while Nodemailer itself is by Andris Reinman. All distributed under the MIT license.
