By using the Libraries.io web site ("Service") you are agreeing to the terms and conditions ("Terms of Service") presented below.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a legal entity you are representing that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms. By accepting these terms you are doing so on behalf of that entity and all references to 'you' and 'your' refer to that entity from here on.
You are required to provide valid billing information at the time of sign up for all paid plans.
The Service is billed in advance on a monthly basis and is non-refundable. There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade, cancellation, or for unused months with an open account.
You may stop using the Service without notice. You may also give prior notice of termination by emailing email@example.com. Once terminated you must destroy any copies of API keys that you have made.
Libraries.io reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.
Libraries.io reserves the right to update and change the Terms of Service from time to time without notice. Any new features that augment or enhance the current Service, including the release of new tools and resources, shall be subject to the Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
Prices of all Services, including but not limited to monthly subscription plan fees to the Service, are subject to change upon 30 days notice from us. Such notice may be provided at any time by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Libraries.io account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
As the Service grows we may add to or otherwise modify the Service. If we do so we will update the documentation. Occasionally we may need to make changes that require you to modify your usage.
Libraries.io shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you provide to the Service.
The name and logos for Libraries.io are property of Libraries.io. All rights reserved. You may not use the Libraries.io name without written permission from Libraries.io.
All API requests must include
api_key parameter. Your API key is generated when you create an account. Your API key can be accessed from your account page.
Requests to the API are subject to a 60 request per minute rate limit based on your api key. Any further requests within that time-frame will result in a

Data provided by the Service is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution, Share-alike 4.0 licence the ("Data Licence").
This licence is designed to encourage open and free exchange of data. It grants permissive rights for users to use the data commercially, to create and distribute derivative works, and to redistribute data under the same terms. Many of these rights are transferred to you so you should check the full wording at: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode.
You may attribute us with the text 'includes data gathered by Libraries.io' in your publication or 'powered by Libraries.io' if providing a service.
Libraries.io does not warrant that (i) the Service will meet your specific requirements, (ii) the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, (iii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable, (iv) the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the Service will meet your expectations, and (v) any errors in the Service will be corrected.
You expressly understand and agree that Libraries.io shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if Libraries.io has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the Service; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the Service; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the Service; (v) or any other matter relating to the Service.

The failure of Libraries.io to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. The Terms of Service constitutes the entire agreement between you and Libraries.io and govern your use of the Service, superceding any prior agreements between you and Libraries.io (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service).
Once this agreement is terminated you must continue to abide by the terms of the Data Licence and any applicable laws regarding the safe usage, provision of access and storage of data.
