Documentation

CYBINT Linux

A data oriented Linux based distribution for cyber intelligence, data science, analysis, research and intelligence based cyber security. The goal is to build a system for scientists, researchers, hackers, news reporters, and enthusiasts who are interested in collecting, analyzing, and sharing information. This linux spin is based on Kali Linux and loaded with tools for the following:

  • CYBINT, OSINT, GEOINT Lifecycles
  • Data collection, modeling, storage, sharing and analysis
  • Infrastructure deployment, configuration & management.
  • Cyberspace research & analysis.
  • Tools/Scripts easily integrated with data models.

Setup

The required packages are; live-build

We can install these packages with the following commands

apt-get install live-build

Building the ISO

Clone this repo to your computer

git clone https://github.com/cybint-io/cybint-linux.git

Change into the cybint-linux directory

cd cybint-linux

Configure the system with the following

lb config

Finally build the ISO with the following

lb build

TODO

  • Add Chrome
  • Remove tor app files and add hook
  • Add elastic search and kibana
  • Install KiCAD from source(fix)
  • Install Arduino with ESP8266 Support
  • Add items to CYBINT, OSINT, GEOINT, and SIGINT menus
  • Install Flash
  • Configure the Iceweasel home to use Disconnect or cybint.io
  • Install the latest QGIS
  • Update documentation, with examples
  • Add menu items for pycharm, processing, neo4j(start/stop)
  • install saltstack
  • update the menu icons to our own.
  • Clean and remove unused images and components
