Getting Started

This plugin requires Grunt ^1.0.4

npm install grunt-git-revisionify --save-dev

Once the plugin has been installed, it may be enabled inside your Gruntfile with this line of JavaScript:

grunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-git-revisionify');

The "revisionify" task

      ref: 'HEAD',
      short: true
    }
  },
})

Type: String Default value: 'meta.revision'

What configuration property to write the revision to.

options.ref

Type: String Default value: 'HEAD'

What ref to read the revision from.

options.short

Type: Boolean Default value: true

Usage Examples

grunt.initConfig({
  preprocess: {
    options: {

      }
    }
  }
})

In lieu of a formal styleguide, take care to maintain the existing coding style. Add unit tests for any new or changed functionality. Lint and test your code using Grunt.
