Implemented functionality

• Create Deployment
• Uses AWS fallback credentials (app.config / web.config file, SDK store or credentials file, environment variables, instance profile)

Referencing

Cake.AWS.CodeDeploy is available as a nuget package from the package manager console:

Install-Package Cake.AWS.CodeDeploy

or directly in your build script via a cake addin directive:

#addin "Cake.AWS.CodeDeploy"

Usage

#addin "Cake.AWS.CodeDeploy"

Task("Create-Deployment")
    .Description("Deploys an application revision via AWS CodeDeploy.")
    .Does(async () =>
{
    var settings = Context.CreateDeploySettings()

    settings.S3Bucket = "company-deployments";

TroubleShooting

• Please be aware of the breaking changes that occurred with the release of Cake v0.22.0, you will need to upgrade Cake in order to use Cake.AWS.CodeDeploy v0.1.0 or above.

If your deploying from S3 its worth checking out Cake.AWS.S3, if your deploying websites to IIS its worth checking out Cake.IIS or if your deploying windows services check out Cake.Services.
