Custom SumIT API module for Magento 2
Installation
composer require customsumit/magento2-api
Setup
Settings
- Go to Stores > Settings > Configuration > CUSTOMSUMIT > CustomSumIT API
- In the CustomSumIT API Core section, paste the private key given to you by Custom SumIT into the Private Key field
- Create a product (see Product Setup below) and add the product's ID to the relevant EPDM, GRP or Flexitec Kit Product ID field
- Setting the Enable Kit Ref Link in Admin option will turn on or off the escaping of Kit Reference URLs in Magento admin. With this option set to No, the admin areas showing custom kit orders will not display a clickable link to the Kit on Custom Sum IT's calculator.
Product Setup
Create a simple Product. Name it what you like eg "EPDM Kit"
- Pricing should be 0.00
- Under the Quantity field, click on Advanced Inventory and set "Manage Stock" to No
- Visibility should be hidden
- Create Customisable Options:
- Title: "Kit reference", Type: Text Field, Required: Yes
- Title: "Kit size", Type: Text Field, Required: Yes
