Contemply

Contemply turns your boring old templates and project scaffolds into interactive code generators.

Template contents and all the information necessary to process them are kept in a single file. Contemply's storage allows you to easily access your templates on your computer or in your network.

What else can it do?

• Different ways to prompt your users for input
• Create different files and folders from one template
• Add your own functions using extensions

Installation

The easiest way to install Contemply is using pip:

pip install contemply

Your first template

#% Create a nice textfile to say hello!

name = ask('Who do you want to say hello to?')

Save it as demo.pytpl.

contemply run demo.pytpl
