Setup

The following diagram shows a possible setup in order to work with one of the different smart home systems, like Loxone, Home Assistant, ioBroker or FHEM.

Setup

Of course, for all smart home systems which are runnable on a Raspberry Pi (like Home Assistant, ioBroker or FHEM), the HtREST service and the smart home system can be hosted on the same Raspberry Pi. The connection can than be easily established via the localhost address 127.0.0.1.
