Caption memes from command line, the easy way.

Requirements

  • Python 3
  • requests

Installation

  • Install the latest stable release with pip install memegen

Or

  • Install dependencies (pip install requests) and download memegen.py (unstable).

Configuration

You should change these variables with the proper value:

MEME_GENERATOR_USERNAME = 'YOUR_USERNAME'
MEME_GENERATOR_PASSWORD = 'YOUR_PASSWORD'

IMG_FLIP_USERNAME = 'YOUR_USERNAME'
IMG_FLIP_PASSWORD = 'YOUR_PASSWORD'

CLI usage

usage: memegen.py [-h] [-l] [-s {imgflip,memegenerator}] [meme] [top] [bottom]

More help running ./memegen.py -h.

Examples:

$ ./memegen.py -l
