scikit-quantum

Scikit-quantum is an open-source python library for quantum mechanical modelling, electronic structure and quantum chemistry. It builds on top of scipy and numpy, and has no additional dependency.

Current Features

  • Eigenfunctions of exactly solvable models:
    • Quantum Harmonic oscillator
    • Coulomb potential
  • Slater determinants
  • Numerical integration of one-dimensional Schrödinger equation

Installing scikit-quantum

Until this package is deployed, the best way to install this is to download the source code:

git clone https://github.com/scikit-quantum/scikit-quantum.git

and add the path to your PYTHONPATH environment variable:

PYTHONPATH=$PYTHONPATH:scikit-quantum

Documentation

There is sphinx documentation in the docs folder. Run make html in the docs folder to access it.
