General purpose "functional" utilities for python. Inspired by underscore and lodash

tests

we have started building up some tests. These use py.test. You can run this by issuing the command py.test (you need to install it first -- more instructions are at http://doc.pytest.org/en/latest/getting-started.html#getstarted). If you use PyCharm you can set this up to use py.test for this repo by doing Preferences -> Tools -> Python Integrated Tools and changing the default test runner.
