Weather Application

Used Web Crawling & Web Scraping Techniques to build this application (source : weather.com)

Three versions of app are available in this repository

• CLI based app
• app installable via pip (Compliant with PEP8)
• web version with json api endpoints

• Web Application Framework - Flask
• Libraries - Requests, BeautifulSoup4, Jquery, Ajax, HTML, CSS, etc

Get Started

How to Install ( Better use Virtual env (venv) for testing this stuff )

1. Use the python package manager pip to install cloud_weather_app.

pip install cloud_weather_app

Usage

from cloud_weather_app import cloud_weather

# Enter the valid Place Name
mumbai = cloud_weather('mumbai')

# Choose relevant forecast type and print variable to view outputs
daily = mumbai.daily()
monthly = mumbai.monthly()
hourly = mumbai.hourly()

2. Clone this repo and under /app you can run base.py through CLI

python3 base.py

3. Clone this repo and under /web you can run web.py through CLI and open localhost:5000
